Computer by default uses the ISP’s DNS servers but if you see that error then you can manually configure your DNS servers.
And it is free and usually better than your ISP.
Method 1 : Manually Configure DNS Server :
Go to “Control Panel“, Click on “Network and Internet” and then click on “Network and Sharing Center“.
After that click on “Change Adapter Settings“.
Right-click on your connection icon ( Wireless Network Connection or Local Area Connection) and then Select “Properties“.
Now first Select “Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)” and then click on “Properties“.
Click on “Use the following DNS server address“, Type “126.96.36.199” as “Preferred DNS Server” and “188.8.131.52” as “Alternate DNS Server“.
In the last hit “OK” button to save changes.
Check to see if the problem is resolved or not, If not then apply 2nd method.
Method 2: Delete all Files from “etc folder”.
You can find etc folder on this path “C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc“.
Open etc folder and then delete all the files which are present in it.
Hopefully this will fix that error message, If not then apply 3rd method.
Method 3 : Renew and Flush the DNS Cache.
To resolve the problem or error, you can renew and flush the DNS cache.
Steps to Renew and Flush the DNS Cache :
1st Step : Open Command Prompt (CMD) as an Administrator.
2nd Step : Type “ipconfig /flushdns” and press Enter key to execute the cmd.
3rd Step : Type “ipconfig /renew” and press Enter key to execute the cmd.
4th Step : Type “ipconfig /registerdns” and press Enter key to execute the cmd.
5th Step : Restart or Reboot your PC/Laptop and see if the problem or error is resolved.
